Hugh is a widely regarded industry leader in the private client and high value international debt space.

He is the Managing Director of PHINOM and heads their private debt offering focusing on short term, special situations especially complex and high value opportunities globally.

Prior to PHINOM he founded a leading high net worth mortgage brokerage business in 2007 and a non-bank lender focusing on short term bridging loans on high value international residential real estate in 2020 before sucessfully exiting both businesses in 2024.

He was described by The Financial Times as the ‘go to mortgage broker for the super-rich’ and was winner of Best Large Loans Broker three years in a row at The British Mortgage Awards.

Outside of work Hugh is equally as goal driven and is a keen cyclist and sub 3 hour marathon runner.

Alessandro has decades of experience in top international investment banks and more than €100 billion track record in M&A, IPOs and Private Equity.

He is the Managing Director of Ark Capital GP AIFM, a board member at Digital Vega and OTC FX options Trading Platform for institutional investors and credit committee member of PHINOM Private Debt.

Prior to Phinom he was the Co-Head of Telecom Media and Technology of Lazard Freres in Paris, Head of TMT at Lazard in Italy and Board Member of Lazard Finance.

Neil, a UK accountant, with more than 35 years of experience in running family offices including the purchase and management of private aircrafts, superyachts, and global real estate.

Prior to Phinom he ran his own management company, with several UHNWI clients, and managed their physical assets around Europe. Started his career at IMG managing several prominent sports personalities and artists.

Daniel brings a decade of experience in trading and managing complex FX derivative portfolios for private clients, with a strong track record in delivering tailored financial solutions.

Prior to joining PHINOM, he managed software development projects and FinTech investments at ARK Capital, where he combined his expertise in technology and finance to drive innovation and support the firm’s strategic growth initiatives.

Daniel sits on the credit committee of PHINOM Private Debt.

Maria is the CEO and Co-Founder of Prophina Asset Management and is responsible for trading over €4 billion annual on behalf of her clients.

She has vast experience in the private and investment banking world and was a Director at UBP, executive director for UBS for FX advisory and a director at Dresdner Kleinwort for FX Sales and Trading.

Monica leverages her expertise in real estate finance to assist clients in maximizing their property assets across prime locations across Europe.

With a strong background in international finance, Monica brings in-depth knowledge of structuring, taxation and deal execution. Before joining PHINOM, she led international lending at a debt advisory firm, where she honed her skills in servicing global clients.

Monica holds a bachelor’s degree in international finance and a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Monaco.

Jo is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business and plays an integral role in the execution of complex, high-value lending transactions. Her expertise ensures seamless coordination across teams and delivers operational excellence in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.

Jo brings over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, having started her career as a Mortgage Broker and Sales Manager at one of the UK’s largest brokerages. She later transitioned into senior roles within the financing division of a global high-net-worth real estate group, where she served as Business Development Manager and Head of Partnerships.

Her deep understanding of property finance, coupled with a strong commercial mindset, makes her a key contributor to PHINOM’s success in the special situations lending market.
